Perfect Home in a Perfect Spot...
"Our family of four all loved this home! It has a great floor plan and is very comfortable with large gathering areas (dining table and family room). The kitchen is well stocked for cooking your own meals and everything is brand new! The property is truly breathtaking. It borders the NP so you feel as if you are staying right in the Park. The Fishhook Tree is an amazing spot that our 20 year old son went to at the end of every day to relax and be alone in nature. The stars at night are incredible. While viewing them one night, we could hear a herd of elk in the distance and the next morning there were 24 of them grazing in the back yard. We've never experienced anything like that before! The river is beautiful and full of wildlife. We took advantage of the proximity to Rialto Beach and spent every day in Olympic National Park. The Park has an immense variety of hikes and habitats so you can spend days and days there. We've stayed in dozens of rental homes over the years and this is definitely one of the best! Obviously, I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to this area." Diane, Illinois

"Property is very private and serene. Everything in the house is brand new, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Beautiful deck with meadow view. One of our favorite features was the outdoor fire pit complete with dry wood and kindling for great campfire nights. Convenient to Rialto Beach and the western beaches of Olympic Park. Used the home as a base camp for exploring and hiking in the Hoh rainforest. Enjoyed everything about the house. Get groceries and supplies in Forks and come back to a bbq at the house after a day of exploring. We will definitely be coming back to this property." Bruce, California
Wonderful Vacation Retreat Adjacent to Olympic National Park"Jim’s description of his property is accurate. My husband and our grown children could have stayed right on the property and been completely happy. We did take day trips to the beaches, Hurricane Ridge, Cresent Lake and Hoh Rain forest. We will definitely be coming back! Jim is very responsive to guest questions. Your home was amazing and perfect for a family trip. All of my family want to come back and stay at your place again. "This was a wonderful home for our vacation on the Olympic Peninsula. Beautiful setting, nestled in the forest 300 yards from the Quillayute River and two miles from Rialto Beach. The house was perfect for two families (4 adults 4 kids) with many amenities and high end finishes. We particularly enjoyed the expansive deck and fire pit. The owner was responsive and accommodating and provides everything needed to enjoy this wonderful home. "The home was beautiful, solid but what really made this an incredible experience for us were the beautifully maintained grounds around the property. Sitting on the porch overlooking the meadow and indelible beauty of the region was a very lucky experience for us. I hope we can return one day. "With a spacious deck (and ample deck chairs) overlooking the view. Inside it is lovely, elegant even, and sparkling clean, but also very practical, with just about every kitchen (and other) convenience you might need. Communicating with Jim is very easy, and that made our stay problem-free. "We utilized this home as our base camp while exploring all of the areas of Olympic National Park. Being just a few minutes from Rialto beach allowed us to stroll the beach whenever we had time to spare. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed- including puzzles and board games for a rainy afternoon. "My husband, our eight month old daughter and my brother-in-law stayed at the Olympic National for six weeks while we were in the area for work. "I looked at many places and found my communication with Jim the best. The property was so beautiful, quiet and my family LOVED walking to the river and picking blackberries. Great Base Camp!
"Great house for our family of 5 to have a base camp for visiting the Hoh Rainforest and Rialto and Second Beach. Communication was very clear and we had no issues checking in. The house was very tastefully decorated and well appointed with everything we need to have meals at the house when we wanted. The beds were comfy and the rooms were all good sized. "We stayed at Jim's place with our 2 adult children, their spouses and our 2 year old grandson while visiting Olympic National Park. Total of 6 adults and a toddler. It was a great location as a base to visit the west side of the park. We enjoyed our evenings at his home relaxing, playing games and exploring his property.
