Rialto Beach (2 miles away)

Rialto Beach in Olympic National Park is a must-see for any visitor. Dramatic sea stacks rise from the waves, while long stretches of sandy and pebbly beach are perfect for exploring. Keep an eye out for the iconic Hole-in-the-Wall, a natural arch carved by the powerful Pacific Ocean.

First Beach (8.9 miles away)

First Beach isn't just about the name! It's a stunning one mile stretch of Washington coast in La Push with easy access for epic views of the Pacific Ocean. This beach is sandy and flat, perfect for a 2 mile round trip starting from the parking lot at the mouth of the Quillayute River.  Unlike some Olympic Peninsula beaches, First Beach offers a convenient parking lot just feet from the beach if you are looking for more beach than hiking.

Second Beach (7.8 miles away)

If you want a short hike with your beach adventure, Second Beach is perfect for you. An easy hike of less than 1 mile leads to a stunning 1.2-mile beach sandwiched between two cliffs.  A day of exploring and unforgettable sunsets await you on this quick adventure.

Third Beach (6.4 miles away)

Third Beach on the Olympic Peninsula is a hiker's paradise. After a scenic 1.3-mile trek through rainforest, you'll be rewarded with a view of a sandy one mile beach framed by dramatic sea stacks. Explore tide pools, hike to a waterfall, or continue on to a secluded beach around Taylor Point.

Ruby Beach (39 miles away)

Ruby Beach is a fantastic choice for visitors of all ages and abilities! The trail leading to the beach is short and well-maintained, and while you may need to navigate some driftwood logs, the beach itself is flat and easy to explore. Just be sure to watch the tides so you can fully experience the tide pools and amazing rock formations.

Kalaloch Beach (43 miles away)

This beach is located next to the Kalaloch Lodge in Olympic National Park and a short hike gets you to this flat, sandy beach. You can stop at the lodge for a bite to eat at the restaurant. Use this opportunity to explore Ruby Beach, which is nearby.

Hobuck Beach (60 miles away)

Neah Bay, a charming coastal town nestled on the Olympic Peninsula, offers a gateway to the untamed beauty of Hobuck Beach. As you arrive, the invigorating scent of salty air mingles with the earthy aroma of the surrounding forest, setting the stage for your adventure.

Nearby Trailheads

The Slough Trailhead (50 ft. away) 

This trailhead starts just off the property along Mora Road near the Olympic National Park entrance sign. It is a 1.2 mile hike through the coastal forest and along the Quillayute River; it leads to the Mora Ranger Station where you can get information about tides, Rialto Beach and ONP.

James Pond Trailhead (0.7 miles away) 

The James Pond Trailhead begins at the Mora Ranger Station and goes north, crossing Mora Road and is a 0.4 mile loop that is a great add-on to your hike along the Slough Trail.

Hole-in-the-Wall Trailhead (2.4 miles away) 

This trailhead begins on the north side of the Rialto Beach parking lot and is a flat and sandy beach hike unless you decide to go at high tide. Then it is a slow and slippery hike over logs and trees.

Olympic Discovery Trail (2 miles away)

The famed Olympic Discovery Trail, a 135-mile scenic route, culminates at La Push Beach! This magnificent trail offers something for everyone, from casual strolls to cycling adventures. You're ideally situated to explore a portion of the trail, starting your journey right at the "end" of the trail, La Push Beach, and head east towards the lush rainforests and vibrant ecosystems. You can connect to it down the road.

Hoh Rain Forest Trailheads (43 miles away)

There are several hikes to choose from when you visit the Hoh Rainforest Ranger Station, including two short loops and the Hoh River Trailhead that begins at the Hoh Ranger Station and explores the Hoh River and goes deep into the Olympic Mountains.

Lake Ozette Trailheads (63 miles away) 

Even though the Ozette Ranger Station is only 17 miles away as the raven flies, it’s a lot longer by road. You will find the trailheads to Cape Alava and Sand Point on the Pacific Ocean, a triangle loop that is 9.5 miles long and has a beach segment that is 3 miles long. The beach segment can be difficult for some hikers due to coastal rocks. Hikers might consider visiting Cape Flattery during this visit.

Rivers and Fishing

Quillayute River (0 miles away)

You have private access to the Quillayute River over with 1,000 feet of gravel bar riverfront, which is connected to Olympic National Park downstream.  The Quillayute offers a bounty of salmon and steelhead throughout the year. Depending on the season, you can target Chinook, Coho, or steelhead with the chance of hooking a trophy fish. This is clearly the best fishing access in the region.

Sol Duc River (2.2 miles away) 

Just upstream from the property is the Sol Duc is part of the Quillayute River System and is famous for its salmon and steelhead fishing.  It’s rocky shores keeps the river from meandering much so it doesn’t get as muddy after rainfall.   

Bogachiel River (2.2 miles away) 

The Bogachiel River is part of the Quillayute River System and has more gravel, making it flatter and prone to muddy water after rainfall.

Hoh River (27 miles away) 

The Hoh River is perhaps the best salmon and steelhead river in the State of Washington. This glacier-fed river, with its gravel bottoms and meandering braids, tends to run clear during cold spells in the Olympic Mountains and floods during sudden hot weather.
