Enjoying the Beach
First Beach offers two ways to experience its beauty:
Scenic Drive and Beach Access:
For a relaxing experience, you can drive right up to First Beach! Unlike Rialto Beach, which can require a longer hike or challenging scramble depending on the tide, First Beach boasts convenient vehicle access. This makes it perfect for those who want to enjoy the beach without a hike or for visitors with limited mobility. Simply follow signs for First Beach from the Quillayute Tribal lands, and you'll find a parking lot near the beach entrance.
Hiking along the beach:
If you'd like to stretch your legs and enjoy a short walk along the sand/rock beach, you may see some surfers towards the end of your beach stroll
